Inside Look: E&F Complex Living
March 27, 2019
Living in E&F is amazing. It is quiet, laid-back and has everything that I need. E&F, out of all of the housing complexes on campus, is the cheapest option. Since it is the cheapest option, it does not offer all of the amenities the other places do, such as a more private bathroom and the addition of a small kitchen. However, this is not a drawback. As long as you are living on campus, you have a meal plan. Therefore, it does not matter that I do not have a kitchen because all of that is already provided for me. The rooms in this complex are very similar to that of the freshmen living areas, which means they are not that big. However, they are big enough to allow for one to be in comfort. Plus, if you get a single (like me), you will realize just how much space you do have and how comfortable it is. Since a lot of people like living in groups with their friends, E&F is not usually packed with people. Therefore, there is not too much traffic going around you if you are trying to concentrate and do homework. I am not so sure why people do not like living in E&F. When I say that it is so laid back, I truly mean that. For the last couple of years that I have been living there, I have not had any problems with the RAs, fellow residents, or an actual problem with the room itself. While many may seem E&F as lonely, just remember, whenever I get bored, I just go see my friends. I do not need to live with them to still hang out with them. As long as I had have a roof and a bed, that is all I need, and E&F provides that and more.
