In the first two games back to back for men’s soccer, the team made victory in their back to back games this past weekend. Their first game on Friday, September 13th, the team took home the win against Niagara University, in a score of 1-0.

On a cold and windy evening in upstate New York, player Kamer Nuhiu scored the only points of the game, and made his first goal of the new season, giving the Hawks of UHART the gold win on Friday evening. With their second game of the season as a win for the books, the team couldn’t stop there. On Sunday, September 15th, the men’s soccer team faced-off against St. Bonaventure, in-which would be their fifth game of the season, and away from home.

Kick-off began at 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon, in-which by the end of the match, there winning streak would stretch to three wins, against losing their first two games of the 2019-2020 season. The extended winning streak began when sophomore student Tomer Drimmer scored yet again another lone goal for the team in just eleven minutes into the match itself, in a final score of 1-0 for the Hawks.

The team moves-up to 3-2 on the season so far, with three victories in a row, and two wins back to back this weekend, what else is instore for the team as the season goes counting forward for men’s soccer.

We wish the men’s soccer team good luck ahead of their first home game of the season, which begins this Saturday at Alumni Stadium in West Hartford, Connecticut. The game begins at 4:00 pm, with both teams going up against each other, head-on with rivals, the Fairfield team.
