Women’s Volleyball AE Quest

The University of Hartford women’s volleyball team ended their regular season with a win over the New Hampshire Wildcats.
The Hawks hosting their rivals this past Sunday afternoon, with the women beating New Hampshire to conclude the season in a final score of 3-1.
With over 272 in-attendance, Hartford won big in the tournament in a four set victory over their rivals, it which is their final game before the America East Championship tournaments commence this week.
During the first set, The Hawks took a 20-12 lead in the set.
The Wildcats wasn’t giving up without a fight with a 20-15 during the opening set, however, The Hawks held went to win in the first with a 25-17 win.
During the second and third sets, the Wildcats came back stronger than the first. With New Hampshire roaring out the gate in the second set, with a 10-2 run.
But Hartford came back and responded to cut the deficit to 20-17.
However, New Hampshire went on to win the second set, in a run of 25-21.
On the other hand, New Hampshire loss the third set to The Hawks who would eventually win the tournament in the fourth.
Players Jenna Bridges, Megan Anderson, Maddie Lindsay, Abby Nash and Robin Helms were all standouts in addition to the team itself.
Bridges delivered an outstanding performance of a game-high of 21 kills.
Anderson also scored big doing the matchup, having a game high of 41 assists and five service aces.
With the Hartford Hawks winning over New Hampshire, the team concludes their regular season with a 15-12 overall record and 6-4 in the America East standings.
While New Hampshire ends their season of regular games with a standing result of 17-8 and 7-3 in the conference ranking.
