Saturday Night Live is entering its 46th season this year and has a great line expected in the next few weeks. SNL returned to its New York City studio with a masked audience when it premiered the season with Chris Rock and Meghan Thee Stallion.

This Saturday, October 10th, Bill Burr will be hosting alongside musical guest, Morgan Wallen. This will be Bill Burr’s first time hosting the show. Burr is a long-time stand-up comedian, who also has appeared in Breaking Bad and the Mandalorian, as well as is a co-creator of the show “F is For Family.” Burr has also starred opposite of SNL’s Pete Davidson on “Kings of Staten Island.” Morgan Wallen will appear to perform his new hit single 7 Summers. This song was a hit from the start, cracking the top ten on the Billboard’s Hot 100 Charts. Wallen is a part of a small group of country singers to have performed on SNL in the past five years. Wallen has never appeared on the show but is a notable country singer who got his start on the singing show “The Voice.”

Next Saturday, October 17th, Saturday Night Live will be featuring everyone’s childhood crush, Justin Bieber and Issa Rae! Issa Rae will be making her hosting debut, and Justin Bieber will be a musical guest for his fourth appearance. Issa Rae is coming off a great year with eight Emmy nominations for the show, Insecure, in which she created, stars in, and is its executive producer. She has also just announced the creation of her new media company, “Hoorae.” Joining Issa Rae as a musical guest will be Justin Bieber. He will be performing his new hit song, Holy. Holy, which features Chance the Rapper, was streamed over 120 million times in its debut week and has just reached number 1 on the Spotify global charts. Justin Bieber first appeared on SNL in 2010, and then again in 2013 as a host and musical guest, and most recently in February to perform his hit Yummy.

Season 46 is assured to be hilarious just like always. There is bound to be many more political skits with the upcoming election, such as the one from this most recent episode featuring Jim Carey as Joe Biden, Alec Baldwin as his signature Trump impression, and Maya Rudolph as Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris. We cannot wait to see what role Canadian Justin Bieber will be in if he partakes in any political skits.
