Rookie golfer Madeline Adam and junior Lara Yeung helped pace the University of Hartford’s women’s golf team at the Sacred Heart Fall Invitational. The duo tied for 23rd at the event, bringing the Hawks to a 6th place finish held at Green River Golf Club.

Madeline Adam has single-handedly helped pace the Hawks in their last three contests. The rookie shot an 80 in the opening round and an 81 in Monday’s round. These two scores helped Adam finish with a 17-over 161. The Hawks had other top performers as well. Freshman Grace Farland finished tied for 28th, with an 18-over 162. Junior Hannah Drew tied for 32nd after combining for a 20-over 164. Junior Lara Yeung, who shot a 77 (+5) on Monday, also finished with a 161.

Hartford concludes their fall slate of competition on Monday, October 25th, as they head down to the St. John’s Fall Invitational. The two-day event will be held at St. Andrews Country Club, located in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. We look forward to another strong outing from the Hawks as they have some momentum heading into their final matchup of the fall season.
