LET’S KEEP HAWKS HEALTHY THIS WINTER!
November 16, 2022
With the colder weather coming, the COVID-19 virus is destined to increase amongst the population of humans all over America.
This week, on November 14th and 15th, the University of Hartford will be holding clinical sessions in order to give students and faculty on campus a chance to get their COVID-19 booster shots.
The University is in partnership with Hartford Healthcare to perform this task, and will be providing accessibility to both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
A link below will be provided for those to sign up and make an appointment in order to receive your booster. The University notes that making an appointment is MANDATORY in order to receive it efficiently.
A UNOTES Ad provides the following details on insurance expenses and coverages:
“This clinic will be paid for by the University, and insurance will not be billed. If your insurance information is already on file in MyChart, that is okay; it will simply not be used for the administration of this vaccine. If your insurance information is not on file within MyChart, you do not need to provide it in order to receive the vaccine and schedule this appointment. When creating an account, if you do not wish to provide your insurance information, you can select “no insurance” and continue forward with scheduling. You can always update your insurance information later for future medical needs through MyChart.”
