Love Can Bite!
February 8, 2023
With valentine’s day around the corner, the University of Hartford is aware of the intimacy in which couples often partake to celebrate their love for one another.
Though Faculty and Staff honor every student’s personal privacy, this year the University is holding a crash course on safety during sex for any student and staff member interested in understanding how to protect themselves this upcoming Valentine’s Day.
This event will be at the table in the main entrance of GSU on February 14th from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M.
According to the nonprofit organization “Unplanned Pregnancy,” “…college pregnancy statistics tell an important story…More than 2 million women between the ages of 18 and 24 become pregnant each year, and college pregnancy rates mean that about 26 percent of undergraduate students are parents.”
The University of Hartford intends everyone to have an enjoyable Valentine’s Day but keep mind of the consequences at hand unprotected sex has on the various men and women around America each year.
For further information on this event please contact Jydia Davis of UHART’s “Events and Activities Team,” [email protected].
On behalf of the Informer, we wish everyone a safe and Happy Valentine’s Day!
