Do you love working with clay? Do you want to work with clay but have no idea where to begin? Join Clay Club if this describes you! With meetings every Wednesday at noon, have fun making your own distinctive pieces and expressing your creative energy by throwing on the wheel or hand-building your own crafts. You’ll learn how to hand-build, throw clay on a wheel, or even improve on your current pottery talents! If the time mentioned above is inconvenient for you, take advantage of open studio days on Fridays at the Krieble Ceramics Center to continue your work from the club. Contact [email protected] for more details or to be added to the email list.
Keep an eye out for the Clay Club’s next events, which include a “make day” for ceramics students on October 6th and their “empty bowls sale” in the alumni plaza on October 21st. The Humane Society of Connecticut will get every penny of the event’s revenues on October 21st. Please get in touch with the same email that was indicated earlier in the post if you’re interested in any of these events. Happy sculpting!
