After a convincing victory over Suffolk University this past Saturday, women’s soccer’s record now stands at 6-2 for the year. Against the Rams, the Hawks scored 7 goals, including two from outstanding freshman forward Kathleen Brush. Following her performance, Brush now has a season total of 6 goals and 3 assists. Only one of the two shots on goal that the Hawks’ defense allowed to go through Sejal Johnson’s hands resulted in Chelsea Fallon, a junior midfielder, scoring Suffolk’s lone goal. The Hawks are now 3-0 in CCC play after their victory over the Rams. The Hawks are currently placed sixth in the Region II coach’s poll after scoring six goals or more in each of their three CCC contests. The red-hot Hawks now look toward their match this Wednesday against the 1-4-3 Eastern Nazarene Lions. This will be the third home game in a row for the Hawks as they look to stay above .500 at home this season and improve to 7-2 overall.
