Arriving on campus this year, I was ecstatic to hear that we were going to have our very own campus comfort dog. Soon after, I had the pleasure of meeting Teddy, an incredibly adorable black lab overflowing with love and joy.
Stumbling upon Teddy as I wandered around campus has consistently been a major highlight of my time at Uhart. It’s the unexpected moments, like Teddy’s warm greetings, that have turned ordinary days into extraordinary ones, transforming the campus into a home away from home.
The presence of a joyful and friendly pup on campus has undeniably had a profound impact on my well-being and academic success, a sentiment I’ve found to be widely shared among my peers.
The decision to introduce a comfort dog on campus, from a student’s perspective, couldn’t have been better. It’s heartening to see the university investing in initiatives that significantly improve the quality of life for its students.
I’m well aware that Teddy’s presence is the result of the dedicated efforts of our public safety department and the administration. Their commitment to making Teddy a permanent part of our campus community is evident, and they deserve our heartfelt gratitude. If you happen to cross paths with Teddy and his handler, I’m certain they would be delighted to get to know you.
