“If you can’t fly, then run; if you can’t run, then walk; if you can’t walk, then crawl; but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” Martin Luther King, Jr.
The University of Hartford is committed to ensuring that every student gains valuable hands-on experience in their chosen field of study to pave the way for their success.
On Thursday, November 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 3 p.m.
UHART’s Career and Professional Development department will host an essential internship information session. This session will provide a valuable list of internship opportunities tailored to students’ majors.
For students attending, there will be opportunities to have your resume reviewed and workshopped, along with a chance to get answers to your burning questions about the hiring process, cover letter writing tips, and more.
The internship session will be conducted in partnership with Parker Dewey, offering paid projects and short-term internships. This collaboration ensures that there’s a perfect fit for all students taking their first step toward gaining career experience.
You can find this event at the Gengras Student Union (GSU) Room 203, and we extend a warm welcome to all UHART students to attend.
For further information about this event, please don’t hesitate to contact Alexandra Coury at her designated email address: [email protected].
We look forward to seeing you there as we collectively take our first strides toward a promising and successful career path!
