Pumpkin Painting Presented by HEAT
On October 23rd, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, HEAT is hosting a pumpkin painting event in Commons PDR! Take a break from books and get into the fall spirit; come relax with friends, enjoy some festive vibes, and create your own pumpkin masterpiece. Pumpkins and paint will be provided. As October comes to an end, don’t miss out on an evening of creativity and seasonal fun!
Spooky Bingo + Live and Loud!
Get ready for a packed night in Hawks Nest on October 23rd from 7:00pm to 10:30pm, featuring two exciting events you won’t want to miss! From 7:00 to 9:00, join ResLife’s Spooky Bingo, a Halloween-themed bingo night complete with free prizes and a costume contest. Then, at 9:00pm, stick around for Redtail Records’ first Live and Loud of the semester, featuring live performances from three talented student artists. Both events are free to attend, so be sure to stop by for a chance to win prizes, show off your Halloween costumes, or to enjoy some incredible student music!
WSAM Live From The Crypt
Head to the Konover Great Room on October 25th for Live From The Crypt, presented by WSAM Radio! The night features electrifying live performances from House of Harm, Gossip Collar, Showgirl, Symposia, and Norfork, as well as a costume contest; so dress to impress (or haunt)!. Doors open at 6:00pm and the show will run from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Admission is free, so bring your friends – dead or alive – for a night of music and spooky vibes.
Fall Fest
Earlier in the day, on October 25th from 12:00 – 4:00pm, HEAT will be hosting this year’s Fall Fest in the Konover F Lot. Come join for activities such as pumpkin carving, bobbing for apples, a photo booth, and more! Fall-themed food options like apple cider donuts and apple cider will also be available. Bring your friends, spread the word, and join for a festive afternoon as October comes to an end.
Rent
Beginning on October 30th and running through November 2nd, the Hartt School will be performing Jonathan Larson’s rock musical Rent! Performed by Hartt’s talented cast, this production follows a group of friends as they struggle to survive in New York’s East Village during the HIV/AIDS crisis while also creating as artists. Held in Lincoln Theater, the performance is 10 dollars for general admission; however, UHart students and staff may redeem
one free ticket online by using their UHart email. Don’t miss this opportunity to support student theater and experience a groundbreaking musical about love, loss, and chosen family.
