January 30, 2019
The Talk is an American talk show that debuted on October 18, 2010, as part of CBS daytime programming block. Based on the British daily women’s panel show, was created by actress Sara Gilbert, who also serves as an executive producer, alongside John Redmann.
The Talk has a new co-host joining the lineup. A skillful dancer, actress, choreographer, and even singer, Carrie Ann Inaba has officially joined the panel of women as a permanent co-host. Inaba joins Sara Gilbert, Eve, Sharon Osbourne, and Sheryl Underwoodon.
CBS is replacing former co-host Julie Chen, who left prior to the new season starting back in the fall of 2018. As a new panelist, Carrie is also best known for her role as one of the main judges on the long running talent competition show Dancing With The Stars.
Along with Gilbert, the show features Eve, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Carrie Ann Inaba discussing the day’s latest headlines, while usually tying in the show’s theme of motherhood or at least parenthood, such as by giving their opinions through the eyes of mothers.
It also contains celebrity interviews and segments for parents as a whole, unlike other shows like The Real and The View. The show has received acclaim for its stories and has won a few Emmys to back it-up.
The Talk airs live on weekdays, at 2:00pm.
