The Masked Singer has really turned heads on television screens, as it has been one of the top-rated premieres of the entire 2018-2019 television season. The show premiere drew attention from over nine million viewers, primarily from the 18-49 age demographic, becoming the highest for that target demo since a show of any genre premiering last year.
The show top the night on Fox, it’s been Fox’s best show premiered since the drama series Empire launch back in 2015. The Masked Singer is an American reality singing competition television series. The series premiered on Foxon January 2, 2019. It is based on the South Korean format King Of Mask Singer.
The show is hosted by Nick Cannon and features celebrities singing in a head-to-toe costume and face mask which conceals their identities from other contestants, the panelists, and the audience.
The judges for the show are Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ken Jeong. The series airs at Wednesday’s at 9:00pm on the Fox Network.
Only time will tell if this show can be renewed for season 2, and if it can live up to the talent competition shows of today.
