The Unlimited Styles of Pasta

Who knew there were so many kinds?

While growing up, I had limited knowledge in pasta. I really only ate elbow and spaghetti which are part of all basic foods. I’ve always been a picky eater so opening up to new types of food was never a great time for me. I did however, love pasta. They always came in the same type of packaging, had the same cooking process, and ended up tasting great either way.

I think pasta is very underrated, there is just way too much in variety for me to even notice. Once I started dating my boyfriend, I was introduced to every type of Italian dish possible. The different types of pasta had me mind blown as all I was ever used to was ramen noodle and spaghetti. Now I expanded my variety on fancier terms, fettuccine and linguine! They come in all different shapes, textures and sizes which will always satisfy our taste buds.

Another thing great about pasta is that you can make absolutely anything with it. With different sauces, the amount of different pasta dishes that can be created are limitless. To find out more information, I ended up googling more about pasta and the different types. After my research, I probably saw more than 30+ different types of pasta used and in the shelves of stores. There is a huge possibility that there is way more pasta out there but I am satisfied either way. Pasta will always be an easy go-to meal to anyone, at least for me and others. Not only is it a simple boiling process, but watching the start to finish end result is fulfilling. To name a few in which I favor, there is lasagna, spaghetti, ravioli, rigatoni, tortellini, penne, ziti, rotini, cavatappi and way more to even go through the list of names. All in all, pasta has the same purpose at the end, it ends up making a delicious meal and adds a fun touch overall.
