CBS’ New Show: The World’s Best

The World’s Best is a reality talent competition television series, produced by Mark Burnett and Mike Darnell, it features international performers being evaluated by three judges that include actress and director Drew Barrymore, television host and model RuPaul and award-winning country singer Faith Hill as well as an international panel of fifty experts in various fields of entertainment all from around the world.
The show is hosted by James Corden, who also serves as one of the executive producers of the show. It premiered on the CBS Network on February 3, 2019 right behind following the conclusion of Super Bowl 2019. The is scheduling to run for a total of ten episodes and will air in its main time slot on Wednesday nights.
Ratings for the show will come in due time starting next week, however, premiering after the NFL Super Bowl, it gave the show a wonderful lunch with over twenty-two million viewers tuning to watch the talent show with it ranking as the number two show of the night. Only time will tell if this show can compete up-against America’s Got Talent, or even better, last for as many years as a number of other talent competition shows have had.
Depending on the status the show could be renewed as early as this summer. However, we will just have to wait and see.
