It’s clear to say that online shopping has made an impact on everyone today. Unless you are unsure about the sizeit’s way more convenient to sit at home and shop on websites, rather than going to the actual store itself. It’s also easier to shop through the store’s catalog online if you are looking for a specific style of clothing or accessories. There are usually three or more situations which lead to customers who end up not purchasing the product.

The first reason is bad reviews on any website. The amount of stars and its rating will usually be the leading factor to a customer purchase. Usually, the stars are a great measure as to if the product is worth purchasing, however it is a huge plus if there is a full comment (either good or bad) on the product and the users experience. For well-known fashion websites, sometimes there may even be pictures of the clothing on the user who completed a review on their purchase. Pictures like this can lead to the ultimate decision. If its not the correct fabric or style you are looking for, it’d be best to save your money or search for another.

The next leading factor is if the product is ‘Not in stock’ for a specific size and/or color. This can be a huge disappointment for many people who may be in love with the product. Unfortunately, they will usually have to wait until it is back in stock or maybe pre-order the item if they are willing to wait for it. As an online shopper, I find it easy to narrow down my choices and selections of items when I am in the ‘shopping cart’ tab. It’s great to look at the summary and find all of the nice items that you found on clearance or with discounts and sales.

However, it’s always the last step of checkout which changes the whole process. It’s usual for all orders to come with a shipping and handling fees, but when it gets up to $8.95, most people are going to reconsider their whole purchase. In my case, I needed my order to come as soon as possible for an upcoming trip. I ended up forcing myself to pay more than $20 for express shipping for 2-3 days. Although I’m not guaranteed to receive the order in time, the shipping prices will determine if online shoppers complete their purchase or not.
