Chaz Young, Staff Writer

Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionist has captured the hearts of the American public and long-time fans of the original show, Pretty Little Liars. Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionist is a spin-off sequel of Pretty Little Liars which debut on March 20, 2019, and set to end in May. Season one that consists of ten episodes will focus on new characters and new drama happening in Rosewood, Pennsylvania.

With the non-fictional area of Beacon Heights/Beacon Heights University being the key target in all the new twists and turns of the show. The series is created by I. Marlene King, and stars Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish from the original series, as well as new coming actors to the family Sofia Carson, Sydney Park, Eli Brown, Hayley Erin, Graeme Thomas King, Evan Bittencourt, Noah Grey-Cabey and veteran actress Kelly Rutherford.

I had the privilege in watching it’s series premiered the week of spring break, and all I have to say is that the series is deliciously refreshing and captivated. Ratings on the other hand were not the best, but ok. The series took in 0.46 in total viewers, which for Freeform the network it airs on, seems like a deal. Only time will tell if the series gets renewed for a second seriesfingers crossed it does. Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionist airs on Wednesday nights at 8:00pm on Freeform network.
