Earlier this year, the University of Hartford purchased what is now known as the The UHART HUB. This platform is the future of the way our university clubs and organizations interact with the student body. This website took over 6 months to set up, but it was well worth the wait. This website is a one-way ticket to all events and organizations on campus. No longer it is a question of what there is to do or join at UHart. With this website the entire campus is at your fingertips. The website can be accessed through the my UHart tab on www.hartford.edu. You may log in with your email without the @hartford.edu and your email password. From there, you may join any of the 100 clubs and organizations and be kept up to date with their meetings and events! The office of student engagement and SGA have worked to get all of the club e-boards access, and this allows there to be a smooth transition from year to year for every executive board for any club. The good news is that the forms and documents clubs need to fill out for SGA are all in one centralized location, so this puts less stress on both ends of communication. As the Club and Organization Vice President, I wanted to ensure efficiency and clear communication between the 400-total e-board members and not only myself but future Club Org VP’s. If you haven’t already, join a club and meet new people! During these times it is pertinent that we all get outside of our rooms and bubbles and do something different.
