With the spring still a few weeks away, things have already started to heat up here at the University of Hartford. Last week, four of our spring sports teams announced their schedules for the quickly approaching spring season. Towards the end of last week, baseball and softball both announced their schedules for this coming spring season.

The Hartford baseball team is set to play 40 games against the America East Conference, including 5 weekend series here at home. The team kicks off their season with back-to-back weekend series, starting with Binghamton on March 20th. They then welcome conference newcomer NJIT on March 27th  at Fiondella Field. The team looks to build off of a strong start from last season, before COVID-19 put an abrupt end to the season.

The Hartford softball team also announced their schedule for the fast approaching 2021 season. The hawks play a total of 18 games, broken down into 6 three-game series. Nine of these 18 games will be played here at home, on the Hartford Softball Field. The team kicks off their 2021 campaign with a road trip to Baltimore, to take on defending America East champions, UMBC, on March 27-28. The Hawks make their home debut the following weekend when they take on Stony Brook for a three-game set. The team looks to improve from their hot start last season, winning five out of sx games, before COVID-19 put an end to the season.
