Yesterday, on September 13th, the annual Met Gala was put on. I don’t know about you, but I was glued to my phone all night waiting for the amazing looks my favorite celebrities were showing off. 

Most of these looks I was amazed at and could only dream about wearing. However, one look made me extremely confused, and I couldn’t figure out what I thought about it. This look was worn but no other than – Kim Kardashian. 

Normally, I am blown away by Kim’s Met Gala looks. However, I can’t form a good enough opinion on this particular one to figure out if I like it or not. 

The concept of the whole outfit makes enough sense to me, as she was trying to mirror Kanye West’s and his new album, Donda. I thought they broke up, but that’s a conversation for another time. The concept is cool, but the outfit – I feel like she could’ve done more with it to make it better. 

Not only was it just plain black with not much going on to spice up the look and bring out the concept, but she had a black piece of fabric covering her face so tight. I still can’t understand how she was breathing under it or how her makeup never rubbed off on the material. 

Overall, the concept of her outfit was easy to digest. Of course, only she can pull it off. Although, my thoughts are still torn on whether her outfit was cool or just plain weird.
