VOTING IS ALL THE TALK THIS WEEK AT UHART

Over the course of the next three weeks at the University of Hartford, the Office of Student Engagement and Inclusion (OSEI) will be holding events to educate the students at the university about the importance of voting and how to vote within the confines of our democratic society.

As stated by faculty member of the OSEI, Lona Rojan Jackson, “National Voter Registration Day is being observed on Tuesday, September 20, and seeks to create broad awareness of voter registration opportunities.”

The event will begin on September 19, and conclude September 23, all events will be from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. in the GSU building, a vendor table will be set up at the main entrance next to the information desk for everyone entering the building.

The OSEI encourages every student and faculty member to come up to the desk and ask any questions, in order to begin the exciting process of registering to vote and becoming an influential voice within our society.
