HEY ALL UHART ARTISTS!

Daniel Roy, News Editor

Any University of Hartford students interested in having your Art featured in an upcoming art exhibit, well, now you’re in luck!

The 2023 Goldfarb Student Exhibition is now open for all University students to submit to. Every student is allowed a maximum of two submissions each to have the chance to be selected by a juror for this upcoming year’s edition of the Art Exhibit.

A UNOTES Ad lists this year’s juror to be Sam Adams, who has a variety of experience in the art world, being the Ellen Johnson ’33 Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art as well as having ties to the Allen Memorial Art Museum at Oberlin College.

For the two students from our University selected to have their artwork featured in the Art Exhibit, they will also be granted a $1,000 cash prize along with the honors of being a part of the Goldfarb Memorial collection which will be displayed in various places all over campus by the Hartford School of Art.

The deadline to submit is January 3, 2023–the Art Exhibit will be open from January 26th – February 11th of 2023 at the Joseloff Gallery.

The University wishes the best of luck to all students who chose to submit their work!
