The Informer’s Sports Editor, Matthew Tomer, will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media and Journalism with an emphasis in Sports Media and Journalism. After graduation, he plans to take a few weeks to celebrate with friends and family, and relax before he gets hit with adult responsibilities!

His ultimate goal is to work for a well-known, large production company like ESPN, NBC Sports, or WWE doing something within the sports production industry. Whether it’s operating a camera or writing articles, if it has to do with sports, he will do anything.

The Informer has allowed him to fine tune his writing skills and learn how to work with a strict deadline. In a career field where deadlines are one of the most important things, this has allowed him to learn valuable skills that he will use wherever life takes him.
