The University of Hartford chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers had its first annual professional formal on April 14th. The occasion proved to be both elegant and fashionable. Members of the NSBE community showcased what NSBE is all about and how to achieve your engineering dreams while thriving in all facets of life. The formal was a chance to wind down, socialize, and network. The event was a night of fun and celebration for everyone involved, as attendees had the chance to mingle and connect with fellow members of the engineering community.

It was the perfect opportunity for students, alumni, and professionals in the field to let loose and enjoy a night of music, dancing, and good company. NSBE also announced that two free tickets were generously donated to the event. That meant two lucky individuals had the chance to attend the formal dance completely free of charge. The offer was on a first-come, first-served basis, so attendees had to act fast. The process involved filling out an RSVP form in the bio and sending a message to NSBE for confirmation.

The event was a success, as attendees enjoyed an unforgettable night of laughter, dancing, and networking. Their mission was to showcase the best of black engineering excellence by coming together to celebrate a shared passion for the field. It was also a chance to dress up and connect with like-minded individuals. For more details, visit their Instagram page: nsbe_uhart.
