In 1993, the University of Louisville’s School of Music founded a Brass Ensemble exclusively composed of the many talented Faculty and Staff at the University to promote their talent and entertain many within their university’s population.
Becoming well known and widespread, the Louisville Brass Ensemble obtained recognition from university music departments throughout the world of academia, traveling all over, and landing a wonderful opportunity this upcoming week to perform here at the University of Hartford.
UHART’s Hartt Music Division is proud to announce the Louisville Brass Ensemble will be performing in the Berkman Recital Hall, on October 17th from 7:30 P.M. – 9:30 P.M.
As spoken in a UNotes Ad written by Phil Snedecor, the ensemble will consist of a “well-versed in a wide range of styles, and the repertoire list ranges from the Renaissance to jazz.”
The members of Louisville Brass are as follows:

● Brett Shuster, trombone
● Clinton McCanless, tuba.
