This week, we interviewed the chief of UHart’s Public Safety, Chief Kaselouskas, to get a breakdown of the responsibilities he has, including the steps Public Safety takes to ensure the general safety and feeling of community on our campus. Through our discussion, we mentioned a few events from the past that have occurred on campus and how Public Safety was able to get these situations under control. The chief mentioned our Campus Climate Community, which works hard to help those affected by harmful things around campus, such as hate crimes. Our team at the Informer is very excited to continue to work with Public Safety in the future, not only to help keep this campus safe and well informed, but to help grow that sense of community together here on campus.
