Get Dirty for A Reason with the Clay Club
Are you interested in trying ceramics but don’t know where to start? On February 6th, from 2:30pm – 4:30pm, the Clay Club will be hosting a New to Clay Day event! In the Hartford Art School’s Krieble Ceramics Center, try out the pottery wheel, learn various hand forming techniques, and even create a piece to be glazed and fired. This event is $5 per student, so register on Venmo through the QR code on the club flier or have exact change at the door!
HartBeat Collective: Artist Collective
From 7:00pm – 9:30pm, HartBeat Collective will be hosting a night of voices, music, and creative energy that highlights the vibrancy within the campus community. Taking place in GSU, this event will showcase six HartBeat artists though a dynamic lineup of performances and artistic expression. Don’t miss this opportunity for a fun, free evening of connection and celebration of local talent!
HEAT’s Canvas of Culture
On February 11th, HEAT will be celebrating Black History Month though art, history, and expression, at their Canvas of Culture event. Join HEAT in an artistic experience, designed to honor the brilliance of black culture in the Commons PDR room from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Decorate tote bags, makeup bags, and canvases with a variety of provided supplies, while connecting with other UHart students.
UHarmonies X Hawkapella Valentines Day Show
On February 15th, two of UHart’s a cappella groups, UHarmonies and Hawkapella will be collaborating for an afternoon of vocal harmony and talent. The concert will take place in Wilde Auditorium from 2:00pm – 3:30pm, offering students and community members the chance to enjoy an engaging, live a cappella experience.
Live and Loud: The Valentine’s Show
Redtail will be hosting the first Live and Loud of the semester on January 19th at 9pm in Hawk’s Nest. This concert will be featuring three student artists, Antwone Gardner, Emma Eek, and Max Goldhirsch, as well as an opportunity to win free raffle prizes.
