Redtail Records Live & Loud: Holiday Show
On December 5th, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Redtail Records will close out the semester with a festive Holiday Show at Hawks Nest! The lineup features three talented student artists, Isabella Phair, Emma Eek, and Maggie Tenters, each bringing their own unique style to the stage. The event is free and open to all, so don’t miss out on your chance to enjoy live music, raffle prizes, and plenty of holiday spirit.
SLM and Hawkapella
Do you love free comedy and live music? On December 6th, SLM, UHart’s improv club, joins forces with Hawkapella for an evening filled with comedy, music, and festive cheer. The show begins at 7:00 PM in Wilde Auditorium (doors at 6:45). Celebrate the season and catch SLM’s last show of the semester before heading home for break!
Aerie Open Mic Night
The editors of Aerie, UHart’s Literary magazine, invite you to an Open Mic Night on December 8th at 6:00PM in the Commons PDR room. Join for an evening of creativity, community, and self-expression as students share original writing, poetry, and more (reading is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory). Also be sure to check out the hot cocoa and book sale, with all proceeds supporting the printing of this year’s edition of Aerie. Come share your words, connect with other writers, and enjoy a cozy evening together.
Midnight Breakfast
The beloved UHart tradition of Midnight Breakfast will be taking place on December 9th from 10:00 PM to 12:00 PM at the University Commons. Take a study break, gather with friends to grab a late-night meal, and choose from a variety of breakfast foods – eggs, potatoes, waffles, omelets, baked goods, you name it! Be sure to arrive early to avoid the line and be the first to grab your UHart breakfast favorites.
The Nutcracker
Experience the magic of the season with UHart’s annual production of The Nutcracker! Join The Hartt Community Division on December 12-14 in the Millard Auditorium as talented performers bring this beloved holiday tradition to life. From enchanting dances to timeless music, it’s a festive event that the whole community can enjoy. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for seniors, students, and children. Don’t miss this cherished annual tradition!
