Make sure to free up your schedule on November 16th if you’re an international student or want to get more involved with the University of Hartford community. On this day, the university is having an international “Friendsgiving” to encourage students to socialize and engage with one another while also sharing some classic Thanksgiving cuisine. Formal attire is encouraged for this event, which will be held at the University Commons, to enjoy a delicious meal. The first thirty international students to arrive will receive meal tickets from the international office.
What if you can’t make this event? Don’t worry—on November 14th, earlier that week, GSU will host another Friendsgiving celebration! We still need volunteers to assist with the behind-the-scenes work of our event so that everything runs well and everyone has a great day. To help with setup, volunteers should report to the Gengras Student Union at 4:00 PM.
