Get ready for UHart’s annual spin on a family weekend: Hawktober! Held from Monday, October 21st – Sunday, October 27th there are events lined up for family, alumni, and the university community at large. There are a variety of events where you can celebrate cultural identity, reconnect with the history of the university, and celebrate student work! On Saturday, the 21st, look out for what most students consider the highlight of the festivities, HawktoberFest! From 11:30am – 2pm behind Chase Arena on the Athletic Fields, “Enjoy a delicious meal with fellow alumni, students, parents, and friends. Enjoy food trucks, beer garden, student performances, music, games and activities for the entire family, and more!” Uhart students get in free and outside guests may pay a $15 ticket fee. Also, lookout for the Hartt school’s production of Something Rotten!, running from 10/24 – 10/27
