The first two months of Fall Semester have flown by, and that can only mean one thing: Hawktober weekend is back at UHart. Hawktober provides an opportunity for students, families, and alumni to engage in everything UHart’s campus has to offer. For music fans, the weekend is also a chance to catch some truly remarkable performances.
One event that attendees of Hawktober weekend will not want to miss is Live From the Crypt, a concert organized by WSAM. The three-hour event will feature five different musical acts. The show will be headlined by Pinkshift, a Baltimore-based rock trio that has been gaining a lot of traction recently. The bill will also include Qween Kong, and Montclair. All three bands promise to bring their own uniquely entertaining brand of rock to UHart.
The two remaining spots on the bill feature some of UHart’s own artists. C. Descoutures and Aiiden will both be performing. C’s music will bring some indie vibes to “the crypt,” while Aiiden will give hip hop fans a reason to be excited. Both artists add great variety to the bill, guaranteeing that any music fan will find something to enjoy.
The event will also feature a costume contest, so attendees should come prepared to compete. The event is being held in the Konover Great Room from 7-10 PM on Friday, October 25th. WSAM is looking forward to filling the crypt with bodies. Come and listen, if you dare.
