For Week 3 of Plate Debate, we focused solely on the crowd favorite from the saute bar, the famous made-to-order pasta. In a surprising and very welcome turn of events, this week also marked the return of broccoli, which has been absent and incredibly missed for the last semester or so. The pasta was our first dish to earn a 100% smack rate, while collecting the most 9s and 10s by far. I personally gave mine a nine, as was evident by my clean bowl. I highly recommend getting the tortellini with the sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli, and both the alfredo and the marinara sauce. I cannot stress the importance of both sauces. This performance is going to be hard for the Commons to beat, but I know there are some exciting menu items to come in the future.
