Last Friday, March 28th, four talented performances were seen at the Konover Great Room. Redtail LIVE, featured multiple talented artists and performers while a crowd of fans enjoyed the music. Performers included C Descoutures, Kat Lacombe, Marzmae, and Maggie Tenters. This event marks the fifth show organized and run by Redtail Records since October 2024.
Redtail Records is a student-run artist management club that helps musicians grow their careers and helps organize performances.
The turnout of this event filled Konover, with a line nearly out the door and fans swarming the floor. The venue featured vendors from multiple clubs, including Women in Business, Society of Women, and Live Art Portraits. At 7, C Descoutures opened the night, featuring original songs including “Ghosts,” and debut song “It’s Killing Us” lighting up the crowd for an exciting night. Kat Lacombe performed hits like “Black Sheep” by Metric and “Good 4 U” by Olivia Rodrigo. Marzmae performed Grunge and Rock classics “American Teenager” by Ethel Cain and “15 Steps” by Radio Head. Finally, Maggie Tenters performed electric renditions of “Want U Back” by Cher Lloyd and “Edge of Seventeen” by Stevie Nicks. Each performer shook the crowd with an exceptional level of emotion, artistry, and talent. If you haven’t seen the show yet be sure to catch the next one.
