For episode seven of Plate Debate, I decided to stray from the typical entree of beef with mushroom sauce, and instead headed to the grill to grab a new item: buffalo chicken grilled cheese. For grilled cheese, I thought it hit just right. The bread was buttered, the cheese waste savory, and the buffalo chicken spiced it up just the perfect amount. I thoroughly enjoyed it, which is why I gave it an 8.5/10 and a smack. The interviews were very mixed today with diners reviewing the mac and cheese, the grilled cheese, the salad bar, the deli, and the beef. All were rated fairly well and received mostly smacks. However, as we’ve seen, the beef with the mushroom sauce is prone to bringing about some wacks. Overall, it was a good day in the Commons as we got more smacks than wacks.
