Another new item today for episode 8! I was very excited to try the sweet and sour chicken with edamame dumplings, but unfortunately they did not live up to their potential. The dumplings were cold and the edamame inside were hard. The chicken wasn’t really remarkable in any fashion. In the end, I gave it a 5/10. It wasn’t a smack, but I couldn’t give it a wack either. It was just one of the peculiar dishes that didn’t work out. Our reviews today consisted of the stir fry, szechuan beef, and the mediterranean small plates. The small plates were the star as people gave only smacks to the pita bread with olives and hummus. The stir fry and beef, on the other hand, were a little more controversial, earning an equal amount of smacks and wacks for each.
