On September 25th, the Career Studio of UHart hosted the Career and Internship Fair in the Chase Arena, located in the sports center. It was a resourceful, yet simple, event for all students to join. It was a successful fair, as more than 100 employers offered their resources, such as full-time opportunities, part-time positions, as well as internships. Hence, students of any year or any level would be able to expose themselves into industries that they are interested in.
Some of the industries that joined this event included engineering, finance, insurance, government sector, and more! Students were offered a wide range of organizations to learn more about. For example, companies such as CIGNA, Travelers, Triumph, University of Saint Joseph were available this year. While attending the event, there were many students taking the opportunity to understand more about the industry of their interests while conversing with the employers.
Through this event, students were able to gain valuable insights into potential career paths, ask questions about job roles and company culture, and even receive advice on internships, resume building, and networking strategies.
