The long running CW series Supernatural will come to an end next season, the sci-fi and fantasy series currently in its fourteenth season will be wrapping-up with season fifteenth starting this upcoming September. The fifteenth season will consist of twenty episodes. Already being one the longest-running live action shows in the history of United States television, the series ending will mark a milestone for a show that was just supposed to last three seasons when it debuted back in September of 2005 at the hands of creator Eric Kripke. The long-running series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, two brothers in the show that their characters go after demons, monsters and ghosts and other things being supernatural in the non-fictional world. Supernatural is currently still in its 14th season, airs on Thursdays nights at 8:00pm on the CW. Even though next season is the last, we can still enjoy the remainder of this season as well as watch repeats of previous seasons on TNT or on the streaming service Hulu. Either way, Supernatural is gone be with us for a very long time, even after the series ends.
