Central Park Five Coming To Netflix

In late May, a new miniseries will grace the television screens on Netflix, as a real-life scenario is played out in the world of television. The series titled: When They See Us, is an upcoming American drama series that will be broadcast on Netflix starting late May of 2019. The miniseries created by Ava DuVernay, will depict the lives of the five young individuals who were falsely accuse, the five individuals known as the Central Park Five. The series will document the Central Park jogger case in-which a 28 year-old female was brutally attacked and rape in Central Park back in 1989. The series will feature the following actors: Jharrel Jerome, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Michael K. Williams, Vera Farmiga, John Leguizamo, Niecy Nash, Famke Janssen, Felicity Huffman, Reece Noi, Storm Reid, Kylie Bunbury, and Aunjanue Ellis. The series will be released on May 31st, 2019 on the streaming service, Netflix is expected a great host of press following the released of the trailer just a while ago. However, the premiered does come with controversy. Actress Felicity Huffman is scheduling to appeared in the series as attorney Linda Fairstein, is facing backlash after she was arrested for her own involvement in the nationwide college entrance exam cheating scandal that grip the nation to the core. In late April, Netflix postponed the release of the comedy show she was set to star in called Otherhood until further notice. Only time will tell for everything.
