The BSU Fashion Show Goes Global and Promotes Diversity

Asia Arce, Staff Writer

The BSU Fashion show happened over this past weekend, and it once again did not disappoint. The theme of this year’s show was the world… literally. Different scenes showcased different cultures as well as fashion from those cultures. The Hispanic/Latino scene featured colors that were red, usually seen in traditional attire for dancing in that region. There was one notable outfit, from this scene, that stood out as it resembled the type of style late Mexican-singer Selena would wear. The coordinators did not just visit the Hispanics/Latinos in the world, as they also “visited” Berlin, Japan, and other places. Saforo designs were worn by the models, which also stood out. These designs are inspired by African culture and clothing. The colors and designs both stood out and made an impression on all those watching.
