In East Hartford, a man was arrested and charged for a shooting that took place on July 19^th, 2019.

He was accused of the shooting of his sister’s ex- boyfriend.

On July 19^th at 1:00am, there were reports of gunshots fired.

Freddie Sanchez was found shot on the scene, and rushed to the hospital.

Police officers spoke to the woman present at the scene, which was the victim’s ex- girlfriend.

She recalled seeing her brother, Saul Tirado fixing his girlfriend’s car the night of the shooting and around 1 am in the morning, she heard gunshots.

When she arrived outside, she saw her brother’s girlfriend’s car driving away.

At that moment, Mr. Sanchez approached her hopping while shouting “I got shot. I got shot.Your brother’s gonna get it”.

Both Mr. Sanchez and woman  were familiar with one another, due to the fact that they were previously romantically involved.

Also, Mr. Sanchez and Mr. Tirado are known to be affiliated with a gang known as Los Solidos and apparently were at odds, which may have played a role in the unfortunate incident that occurred. After Mr. Sanchez was treated and fully conscious, he confirmed that the shooter was indeed Mr. Tirado.

Therefore, officers released a warrant for his arrest and later detained him in Manchester on Thursday, October 03, 2019.
