Jenna Bridges of the UHart women’s volleyball team has not only made history for herself, but for the school as a whole during Hawktober weekend. Bridges showcased an unstoppable performance, by delivering five blocks and showing off 20 kills, that included her 1,000th kill of her career. In addition to her many achievements throughout her career at UHart, Bridges was named the America East Player of the Year, becoming the first player since 1993 to receive the award and became the first Hartford Hawk AVCA East All-Region honoree since 1992 which brought many awards in itself. Bridges also became the first player in program history to win three-straight America East Player of the Week honors back to back to back for her performance on the field.
