Female Athlete of the Week: Elizabeth Lodge

Elizabeth Lodge took home America East Female Field Performer of the Week this week with her recent performance at the America East Outdoor Championship. Lodge took home the gold medal in both the heptathlon and the high jump. In the heptathlon, Lodge set a new school record in the event (4754 points), while also breaking the long jump (5.68m) and the high jump (1.76m) respectfully. She wrapped up her weekend by finishing sixth place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.46 seconds.

Before her time at Hartford, the Manchester, Connecticut native was a four-year member of the Manchester High School track and field team. While in high school, Lodge earned all-conference honors all four years, earned all-state honors in her freshman, junior, and senior years. To top it all off, she was the New England high jump champion in 2016.
