The Fall 2021 season concluded for the University of Harford’s women’s golf team. The final event of the fall season, the St. John’s Invitational, was originally a two-day event, but unplayable conditions saw the second get canceled. The Hawks showed up to play, led by freshman Madeline Adam and junior Lara Yeung. With the second round cancelation, the Hawks finished in the top 10 with a 10th place finish.
For the second time in as many events, Adam and Yeung paced the team at the invitational. The pair both shot 81s(+10), which saw them both tied for 35th place. There was a strong showing from the freshman class at this event as well. Freshman Lilly Moreau finished with a tie for 40th with an 82(+11). Classmate Grace Farland shot an 85(+14) to finish in a tie for 49th. Last but not least, Freshman Leslie Li played as an individual and also tied for 49th.
As the 2021 fall season comes to a close, we are excited to see what the women’s golf team has in store for the spring 2022 season. The Hawks will look for strong performances in the spring as they get ready for the MAAC Championship.
