Are you interested in becoming a Red Cap? Well, now is your chance! Red Cap applications for the 2022-2023 school year are now in session, and due by February 18th at 2pm.

As a Red Cap, your main goal is to help all incoming freshman feel welcome here at the University of Hartford. During freshman orientation, you will have a group of incoming students assigned to you, in which you will interact with them, play games with them, as well as give them a tour of the school they will be attending. You will also have to direct them to where they need to be on schedule. There is also a dance Red Caps put together for the new incoming freshman, which is a lot of students’ favorite part about orientation.

In addition to the applications that are due in a couple of weeks, there will also be three days of virtual tryouts. These tryouts will be held on Feb. 18 from 5pm-7pm, Feb. 19 from 9am-1pm, and Feb. 20 from 9am-1pm.
