The internationally renowned Galan Piano Trio will present a concert of new works. The concert is free and will be held on Monday, April 25th, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM in Millard Auditorium. It will also be live-streamed. This performance is part of a residency at the Hartt School, involving the reading and recording of new trios written by student composers and a master class with chamber music ensembles. The concert will also feature new works written by six American composers, including Ken Steen, Hartt composition faculty. 

This concludes the Trio’s spring US tour, a project consisting of their newest ensemble titled “Kinesis.” The tour and project are sponsored by “Greece in USA,” a New York non-profit organization that aims to promote Greek culture in the United States under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Greek National Tourism Organization.
