Coachella Comeback

Coachella Comeback

Whether or not you know what Coachella is or if you are interested in it, I can almost guarantee that everyone’s social media pages are flooded with glamorous pictures of influencers posing on the festival grounds. After a long two year hiatus, Coachella is finally up and running again with the best headliners to promote it. For some people, Coachella is an opportunity to get paid to appear in scantily clad outfits, but for music lovers, they rarely get the chance to attend because of how expensive it is. Due to the pandemic, the performances are being streamed live on YouTube, so now everyone gets the chance to see their favorite artists, even if it is from a distance.

I don’t know anyone that is a bigger Harry Styles fan than me, but at the moment, he is one of the most popular artists in the world and can easily pull a large crowd. In the past, people would travel from all over to see Beyonce perform, and now I think it’s safe to say that many would do the same for Harry. Alongside Bille Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, and other big names as well, it made for a successful first weekend of Coachella. I think that in the future, the show runners could do a better job of making tickets more affordable for non-celebrities to attend. However, considering that tickets to the festival, and a nice view of the various stages is one of the most sought after things in the U.S. this time of year, I doubt any accommodations will be made.
