Are you looking for a fun and unique way to promote the lessening of our carbon footprint? Well, the University of Hartford is giving you a chance!

On Friday April, 22nd at 5:30, Ras James and Nahzae are hosting an event to skate around campus to promote the idea of lessening our carbon footprint, but also encouraging the idea that although we need transportation, we can do it without motor vehicles. This event is for skaters, or people who want to join, in hopes to promote eco-friendly transportation methods!

You will start at commons, and will skate all the way around campus. There will also be checkpoints throughout campus that you can stop and take pictures with your friends, as well as encourage others to join in! This is the first time this event will be taking place, and if it is a huge event, it could possibly become a tradition here and the University of Hartford!

This is a great way to not only get your exercise in for the day, but also to enjoy the beauty of this campus with those who share the same interest as you. So, grab your board, grab your friends, and let’s skate!
