The Hartford Hawks Men’s Golf Team will hit the links to open their fall campaign on September 10 with the Ryan Lee Memorial Intercollegiate Tournament. The two-day tournament will occur at the Shuttle Meadow Country Club in Kensington, Connecticut. Following the season-opener, the Hawks host the Hartford Hawks Invitational at Bull’s Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, Connecticut, September 19-20. Men’s coach Pete Stankevich stated that, “The Ryan Lee Memorial, which was moved to Shuttle Meadow in nearby Kensington this year, has become a staple on our fall schedule and is a great event for an excellent cause.” Stankevich also mentioned, “The Hawks are always excited for our Invitational, which has been hosted at Bull’s Bridge since 2010. This year’s tournament features another great field of teams that the Hawks are looking forward to competing against, and the golf course is second to none in Connecticut.”

After the conclusion of hosting a tournament, the Hawks will stay in the New England region for two events. First, with The MacDonald Cup, a two-day event held at The Course at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, on September 24-25. The second stretch of New England events caps off with the UConn Invitational at Great Horse Country Club in Hampden, Massachusetts. The Hawks will conclude their fall season in Powells Point, North Carolina, for the Old Dominion/Outer Bank Invitational Intercollegiate, held at the Kilmarlic Golf Club. The three-day event will run from October 23-25.
