The University of Hartford’s hip-hop dance team, Fenomena, is hosting tryouts Friday September 16 from 3:30 – 5:30pm in the Konover Great Room. The team is co-ed and dances to the latest hits and a mix of older songs that brings people back in time. Fenomena will also be at the club fair this Friday to both perform and answer questions about upcoming events, how to join the team, and more. There will be another performance on September 11 from 7 – 9pm in GSU 331 at the Fenomena’s Mixer. At the Mixer, you can watch a live performance, as well as other recorded performances while getting to know about the organization.

Fenomena gives back to the community via community service and by teaching community dance classes, with outreach to young dancers in Hartford being the main focus. Fenomena is not just a group of dancers who want to win competitions, they are dancers who want to leave a legacy after leaving the University of Hartford. Their mission is to expose the culture of hip-hop dance by entertaining peers at the University of Hartford.
